Privacy Policy

Superleuk, LLC d/b/a GenPPT ("GenPPT," "we," "us," or "our") operates genppt.com and the GenPPT application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy covers the information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What GenPPT does

GenPPT is an AI presentation maker. You can paste a prompt, upload documents, attach images, or provide a link. We use that input to research topics, draft outlines, generate concept previews, render full-slide visuals, and export decks to PowerPoint or PDF.

Those features require us to process your submitted content plus account and usage data.

Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: email address and basic profile details when you sign up (Google sign-in or magic email link)
  • Presentation input: prompts, outlines, chat messages, uploaded files (PDF, Word, text, images), and URLs you submit for deck generation
  • Generated content: decks, slide images, thumbnails, concept sheets, exports, and related metadata created in your account
  • Support messages: information you send to support@genppt.com
  • Billing information: subscription status and Stripe customer identifiers. Payment card details are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers

Uploads and generated files

When you create or edit a deck, files you attach (documents, images, audio, or video) are uploaded to our cloud storage after you sign in and start a generation or send a chat message. Selecting a file in the composer alone does not upload it.

Uploaded files and generated assets (slide images, thumbnails, exports) are stored in your account so you can reopen decks, continue editing, and download exports. You can review and remove many stored files from Settings → Storage while signed in.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, and timestamps
  • Usage data: features used, generation events, errors, and performance metrics
  • Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies, analytics identifiers, and marketing attribution cookies

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and secure the Service
  • Generate and store your decks, slides, and exports
  • Process subscriptions and billing through Stripe
  • Send service emails (sign-in links, export ready, account notices) through our email provider
  • Respond to support requests
  • Monitor reliability, debug issues, and prevent abuse
  • Measure product usage and marketing performance
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

AI processing

GenPPT uses third-party AI and search providers to research topics, draft content, generate images, and assist in the editor. When you use AI features:

  • We may send your prompts, uploaded files, chat messages, and deck context to AI providers for processing
  • Optional web research may send search queries and read public URLs you reference
  • Providers generate output from your input and their models

Training and confidentiality

  • We do not use your private decks, chats, or uploads to train GenPPT's own public AI models.
  • Your content is processed to deliver the Service to you — not to build a shared training dataset for other customers
  • Third-party AI providers process requests on our behalf to generate your output. Their handling of API traffic is governed by their terms and enterprise/API data policies
  • We do not sell your presentation content

AI output can be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing generated slides before sharing or presenting them.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure how you use the Service. This may include:

  • Product analytics (for example PostHog) to understand feature usage
  • Privacy-friendly analytics (for example DataFast / Plausible-style scripts) for traffic and conversion measurement
  • Advertising analytics (for example Google Ads and Meta Pixel) to measure ad performance
  • Affiliate tracking (for example Tolt) when you arrive through a partner link

You can limit cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies may break sign-in or parts of the Service.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Service:

These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations suited to their role. They may also process data under their own privacy policies when you interact with their services directly (for example Stripe's billing portal).

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to prevent fraud or abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

Data retention and deletion

We retain account and deck data while your account is active so you can access your work.

Remove specific files or decks

  • Settings → Storage: remove individual uploads and generated assets tied to your account
  • Delete a deck: removes that deck and its associated content from your library (soft-deleted decks are permanently purged after 60 days)
  • Abandoned uploads: if a file was uploaded but never attached to a finished deck, unreferenced staging copies are automatically removed after 60 days

Delete your account

Account deletion removes your profile, decks, chats, uploads, and associated cloud files from our systems, subject to backup and legal retention limits.

You can delete your account from Settings → Data controls → Delete account while signed in, from Help → Delete my account, or by emailing support@genppt.com from the address on your account with the subject Delete my GenPPT account.

Request help deleting a file

If you cannot sign in, or you need help confirming deletion of a specific upload, email support@genppt.com from the email address on your GenPPT account. Include the file name and approximate upload date so we can locate it. If we cannot match an account or file, we will tell you — we do not delete data we cannot verify belongs to you.

Other retention

  • Stripe may retain billing records (charges, invoices, tax records) as required for accounting and payment processing
  • Analytics and logs may be kept for a limited period in aggregated or de-identified form

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your account, decks, uploads, and associated data
  • Request deletion of specific files when you cannot access self-service tools
  • Export data where technically feasible
  • Object or restrict certain processing
  • Opt out of marketing emails

To exercise these rights, contact support@genppt.com. We respond within 30 days where required by law.

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

We protect your information with encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, secure authentication, and other technical and organizational measures. No online service is completely secure. Use a strong, unique email account and report suspected unauthorized access to us.

International transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where law requires it, we apply safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post material changes on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the revised policy.
